This week's list of news on power purchase agreements (PPAs) includes mainly updates on auctions awarding long-term contracts in France, Argentina, Brazil and India. There is also one off-take term sheet in Australia.

Argentina's Ministry of Energy and Mines announced on Tuesday that it has signed contracts with winners of 107.2 MW from the RenovAr 2 renewable energy auction.

-- Cemig to hold auction for wind, solar power contracts in Sep

Brazilian utility Cia Energetica de Minas Gerais SA (BVMF:CMIG4), better known as Cemig, plans to hold an energy auction on September 20, 2018 to contract wind and solar power. The auction will award PPAs with terms of 10 years and 20 years.

Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd (KREDL) has issued a tender for 200 MW of grid-connected solar projects in 10 talukas of the southwestern state.

-- Windlab arranges PPA for part of 104-MW Aussie wind farm

Aussie renewables developer Windlab Ltd (ASX:WND) said on Thursday it has signed an off-take term sheet with Flow Power for around 50 MW of the output of its 104-MW Lakeland wind project in Queensland.
