Finnish renewable fuels producer Neste Oyj (HEL:NESTE) said it has finalised the acquisition of US-based cooking oil management services firm Mahoney Environmental Inc.

Kazakh uranium producer JSC NAC Kazatomprom said it has ended a conditional agreement for the sale of a 75% stake in its solar photovoltaic (PV) cell and module production activities to a consortium of strategic investors.
-- Petrobras proceeds to next stage in 52-MW wind asset sale
Brazilian state-controlled oil and gas company Petroleo Brasileiro SA (BVMF:PETR4), or Petrobras, said it has kicked off the binding phase in the sale process for its stakes in two wind farms totalling 52 MW.

The Hawaiian Electric Companies (HEC) said that it is working to revise the request for proposals (RfPs) for renewable energy and energy storage projects it issued last year for the island of Lanai after talks about the sale of its local assets fell through.

Spain-based solar business Tayan Energy Investment SL has acquired two photovoltaic (PV) parks totalling 55 MW in Italy, the legal advisor in the transaction Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) said.

Allete Clean Energy, the wind unit of US energy company Allete Inc (NYSE:ALE), said that at the end of April it raised tax equity financing for its 80-MW wind farm in Montana through a deal with JPM Capital Corporation.
