to-the-point: Gamesa Electric to supply inverters for 40-MW park in Peru

Spain's Gamesa Electric said on Tuesday it has signed a contract with Solairedirect to supply its solar power stations for a 40-MW photovoltaic (PV) project in Peru.

The Intipampa project is located in the province of Mariscal Nieto, at 2,100 metres (6,890 ft) above sea level. Gamesa Electric will supply nine solar power stations of 4.7 MVA that incorporate its 1,500-Vdc E-2.25 MVA-SB-I solar inverter.

French utility Engie (EPA:ENGI), the owner of Solairedirect, announced the award of the 40-MW solar project early last year.
