to-the-point: Enertronica unit signs 160-MW PV inverter pact in Colombia

March 22 (Renewables Now) - Italian renewable energy sector player Enertronica SpA (BIT:ENT) said today that оne of its subsidiaries has signed a pact for the provision of 160 MW of photovoltaic (PV) inverters in Colombia.

More specifically, Elettronica Santerno has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with “one of the main utility companies operating in the country.” The contract is valued at USD 8 million (EUR 7.1m) and calls for the supply of the new Skid 8000 product. It is the first confirmed order for 2020/21, Enertronica said.

The Italian company noted that Latin America is one of the most highly interesting geographical areas for Elettronica Santerno.
