March 7 (Renewables Now) - Brazilian companies Brametal and Araxa Solar have launched together mounting support structure for ground-based solar plants that is 100% made-in-Brazil.

Brametal has developed three different mounting products - fixed support mono-post, fixed bi-pole support and a single-axis solar tracker - to give developers choice depending on the project design and location of the photovoltaic (PV) parks, the company noted in the press release.

The product line is registered with the FINAME programme by the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), which confirms compliance with local content and local manufacturing requirement and gives project developers access to development bank credit lines.

In addition to the equipment, Brametal and Araxa are also offering their expertise in engineering projects for large solar plants.
