Weekly renewables M&A round-up (Jun 27-Jul 1)
Jul 01, 2022 17:05 CESTSeptember 13 (Renewables Now) - Chinese solar inverter maker Sungrow Power Supply Co Ltd (SHE:300274) said it has signed distribution contract for 50 MW worth of PV and energy storage solution products with Karachi-based firm Energy For You.
Under the agreement, which the parties signed at the Solar Pakistan 2021 event, Sungrow will supply residential and commercial inverter solutions within a year.
The order was made and tailored in response to the growing amount of residential rooftop installations in Pakistan, and will feature a turnkey solution comprising a three-phase hybrid inverter and a high-voltage battery.
The systems, equipped with an extensive flexible capacity and the broad power range, enable flexible configurations for different rooftops.
“[B]ecause all of the information is integrated into one app, iSolarCloud, users can click to initialize both the inverter and battery, automatically commissioning and managing the plant yield in a timely manner”, Sungrow explains.
“As a pivotal player taking the first place in market share in Pakistan, we keep bringing forth innovations that address diverse applications with lower LCOE, despite the changing landscape and current COVID-19 pandemic,” Howard Fu, Country Director of Sungrow Pakistan, said during the expo, according to Sungrow’s press release.
