In its new Abu Dhabi branch, the company will initially focus on the solar photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage business due to the good positioning it has in the sector.

In the UAE, Ingeteam supplied inverters for the 1,177-MW Noor Abu Dhabi PV plant. The company said that the latest move consolidates its position as a power converters supplier and provider of operation and maintenance services for renewables in the Middle East and North Africa. In this region, it has supplied more than 1,800 MW, according to the announcement.

Recently, the company also supplied its inverters to the 240-MWp Xuan Thien Thuan Bac solar PV project in Vietnam.
