Arizona not-for-profit public utility Salt River Project (SRP) has signed a PPA for a planned 100-MW solar park at its home state with tech giant Intel Corp (NASDAQ:INTC). The photovoltaic (PV) plant will be built by sPower.

-- Shell to get 100 MW of wind under new California PPA
Shell Energy North America US LP has agreed to buy up to 100 MW of electricity from a California wind project being developed by Terra-Gen LLC. The long-term PPA has been signed with Coachella Hills Wind LLC for a project of the same name.

Engie Brasil Energia SA (BVMF:EGIE3) has signed a contract to sell 30 MW of wind power to local telecom Grupo Claro.

Spain's Solaria Energia y Medio Ambiente has secured a 50-MW solar PPA with Repsol SA (BME:REP). It will have a seven-year term, starting with the commissioning of the Spanish photovoltaic (PV) plants.

Allete Clean Energy has agreed to sell electricity from a 12-MW cluster of wind farms in southern Minnesota to utility Xcel Energy (NASDAQ:XEL).

Recurrent Energy, a wholly-owned unit of Canadian Solar Inc (NASDAQ:CSIQ), has signed a 25-year PPA for 63 MW of solar power with Stanford University.

Air Liquide SA (EPA:AI) has agreed to buy power from a wind park in Texas that NextEra Energy Resources LLC will put online near the end of 2020. The long-term PPA is for 50 MW from a project under development in Menard County.

The zero-subsidy tender for roughly 700 MW of offshore wind at sites III and IV of the Hollandse Kust Zuid off the Netherlands will take place in March 2019.

-- Ørsted secures 500 MW of wind, solar PPAs with ExxonMobil
Danish utility Ørsted (CPH:ORSTED) will supply power from 500 MW of wind and solar parks in Texas for the operations of US oil and gas major ExxonMobil Corp (NYSE:XOM) in the Permian Basin. Through its US subsidiary Lincoln Clean Energy, the Danish company will supply 250 MW from the 300-MW Sage Draw wind farm and 250 MW from the 350-MW Permian solar photovoltaic (PV) complex.
