March 24 (Renewables Now) - News of power purchase agreement (PPA) signings in the last two weeks came mainly from the Americas, while in Europe most of the attention has shifted to the novel coronavirus and its spread. We start with the most recent announcements.

-- FRV inks 90-MW solar PPA with Australia's Snowy Hydro

Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) has signed an off-take deal for the output of its newly-acquired 90-MW Sebastopol Solar Farm in Australia’s New South Wales state. Read more..

The Tennessee Valley Authority is awaiting bids in a tender that will contract 200 MW of renewable energy projects, possibly with battery storage. Read more..

-- Good Energy extends offshore wind offtake deal with Ørsted

UK renewable energy supplier Good Energy Group PLC  (LON:GOOD) has announced a three-year extension to its offtake agreement with Ørsted  A/S (CPH:ORSTED) for power from the Danish company's Westermost Rough Wind Farm, located off the Yorkshire coast. Read more..

-- EDF Renewables to install 60 MW of solar PV for ODEC customers

Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC) has expanded an existing partnership with independent power producer EDF Renewables North America to now build distributed solar plants totalling 60 MW. ODEC will buy the output of the solar arrays at a fixed rate. Read more..

Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) has announced its involvement in four projects in Australia, Europe and the US that will give it access to nearly 300 MW of renewable energy capacity. Read more..

Energy firm Atlas Renewable Energy has signed a 15-year PPA with British miner Anglo American plc (LON:AAL) for a total of 9 TWh of solar power. Read more..
