September 12 (Renewables Now) - Tel Aviv-based independent power producer Kenlov Renewable Energy has appointed a new chief executive officer who will lead the company in the pursuit to finance, develop and operate a 3-GW-plus renewables pipeline, it said on Monday.

Yossi Gvura, former deputy CEO of Delek Drilling, is replacing Olivier Konig as Kenlov’s head. In turn, Konig transitions into the position of executive chairman.

“As we move ahead with the next phase of growth and seek the capital and know-how to bring our projects into reality, we’re thrilled to appoint a figurehead as experienced as Yossi in the world of energy and infrastructure,” commented Konig.

Kenlov is engaged in the development of onshore wind, solar and storage projects, with activities in Europe and the US. Just recently, the company entered Greece.
