Montealto to build 18 solar plants in Italy, two wind farms in Peru - report

(ADPnews) - Oct 25, 2010 - Spanish property and services group Montealto has secured contracts to build 18 solar power plants in Italy and two wind farms in Peru, Spanish daily Cinco Dias today cited company sources.
The investment in Italy will reach EUR 240 million (USD 336.9m) for a total 65.35 MW, while in Peru the Spanish company will set up 110 MW for EUR 180 million.
The construction in Italy will create 1,241 jobs.
Montealto expects to close 2010 with a 20% surge in sales to EUR 225 million. The company which is active in the infrastructure, energy and environment sectors forecasts 40% of its sales to come from abroad. The share is seen to surge to 60% in 2011.
