JA Solar unveils completion of 11-MW Israeli floating solar plant

September 14 (Renewables Now) - Chinese solar products maker JA Solar Technology Co Ltd (SHE:002459) has recently finished the installation of the 10.7-MW Tel Yitzhak Reservoir floating solar park in Israel on behalf of local project developer S'energy.

Work on this project was carried out under a previously signed deal between the two companies for a total of 50 MW of capacity. JA Solar said that local partner Ralco Energy has provided full services for this project with both logistical and technical support.

The new floating solar park utilises JA Solar DeepBlue 3.0 PV modules of which series the Chinese company has shipped a total of 24 GW as of the end of June 2022.

According to JA Solar, the company held a 40% share of the Israeli market in 2021.
