Gesolar, Greenersys to explore joint project in Costa Rica
Aug 14, 2012 - Chinese solar products maker Gesolar and Costa Rican firm Greenersys yesterday signed a letter of intent (LoI) to invest in a photovoltaic (PV) power project in Costa Rica, the local government said in a press release.
The document was signed in China during a visit of Costa Rica's president, Laura Chinchilla, who praised the association. It is an example of how the two countries can join forces to develop projects of mutual benefit, she said.
Gesolar, a subsidiary of Sainty International Group, manufactures crystalline PV modules and provides a package of solar system kits.
Greenersys focuses on renewable energy and energy-saving solutions for Central America, including solar water heaters, PV panels, wind turbines of up to 1.5 MW, among other products.
