Construction starts on 34-MW wind expansion project in Lower Austria
May 25, 2022 18:44 CESTJanuary 17 (Renewables Now) - Spanish group Soltec Power Holdings SA (BME:SOL) said on Monday that it has signed contracts to supply its solar trackers for two solar energy projects totalling 610 MW in Peru and Colombia.
The customer is Italian renewables company Enel Green Power, Soltec said in a bourse filing.
Details about the two projects were not disclosed. Both sites will be equipped with Soltec’s SF7 bifacial trackers, which Soltec will start delivering in early 2022, the group said.
According to Soltec, its SF7 product can yield up to 2.1% more energy compared to 1-in-portrait trackers.
Soltec, which runs a project development and O&M division as well as being engaged in tracker manufacturing, will also perform some plant construction services for the customer.
