Dominican Republic to add 361 MW of wind, solar by 2018

April 5 (Renewables Now) - The Dominican Corporation of State Electric Companies (CDEEE) said on Tuesday that eight renewable projects with a combined capacity of 361.2 MW are to be completed by 2018.

The announcement was made by the CDEEE's vice president, Ruben Jimenez Bichara. The projects, three solar and five wind farms, represent an investment of USD 779.8 million (EUR 731m), the government noted.
