Spanish energy company Disa Group announced last week it has completed the acquisition of two solar plants in Chile with a combined capacity of 6 MW.
These photovoltaic (PV) plants, the group's first already operational assets outside Spain, are located in the Atacama desert. Disa has a 3-MW PV facility currently in the final phase of construction in the same region.
The company forecasts it will close the year with 73 MW of total installed solar and wind power. Recently, the company launched a branch dedicated to the commercialisation of 100% renewable electricity, Disa Energia Electrica. It has also completed the construction of 44 MW of wind capacity in the Spanish Canary Islands.
