Fluence Energy Inc (NASDAQ:FLNC) has won a contract to deliver asset performance management software for 350 MW of solar parks owned by Cubico Sustainable Investments in Mexico.
The energy storage and digital applications joint venture of US power generation group AES Corp (NYSE:AES) and German industrial conglomerate Siemens AG (ETR:SIE) has been hired to enhance the performance of the Solem I and Solem II solar farms in El Llano municipality, it said on Monday.
To perform the task, Fluence will deploy its Nispera asset performance management software at the two sites. The integration will allow the detection of possible budget deviations and propose measures to boost the output of the photovoltaic (PV) plants and revenue streams.
Fluence and Cubico are already partnering in a range of projects in the US and the European Union, under which Fluence is providing ongoing analysis and monitoring services for 626 MW of solar sites of the London-based renewable energy investor.
Fluence noted it currently has over 16 GW of assets contracted or under management globally.
