Clavijo concludes tracker installation for 40-MW PV park in Chile - report
Oct 21, 2014 - Spain-based solar trackers maker Grupo Clavijo has finished installing single-axis trackers at the 40-MW Chanares photovoltaic (PV) project in Chile and has started work on a new local project of 35 MW, Chilean energy news portal Revista Electricidad reported Monday.
The Chanares solar park is built in Chile's Atacama region for Italian renewable energy generator Enel Green Power SpA (BIT:EGPW).
The trackers were manufactured within six weeks, while the installation period lasted two months. For the new project, Clavijo will again supply single-axis trackers.
The Spanish company expects to reach over 650 MW installed worldwide at the end of 2014.
