(SeeNews) - Nov 13, 2013 - Brazilian energy sector watchdog Aneel yesterday received requests for independent producer licences for two photovoltaic (PV) solar plants with capacity of 30 MW each, according to a decree published in the State Gazette.<br /> The plants are dubbed UFV Sol do Sertao XXXV and Sol do Sertao XXXVI and are owned by local firm Solyes Geradora de Energia. The facilities are located in the Oliveira dos Brejinhos municipality, northeastern Bahia state.<br /> At end-October, Solyes filed a request for independent producer licence for the 5-MW PV solar plant UFV Sol do Sertao, located in the same municipality.
