(SeeNews) - Nov 5, 2013 - Efficientia, a subsidiary of Brazilian power utility Cemig (SAO:CMIG4), in a partnership with the Minas Gerais federal university, opened a call for bids for projects for the construction of a PV solar plant in the state's capital Belo Horizonte.<br /> The idea, which has been already approved by the country's electricity sector regulator Aneel, foresees the contracting of the solar power production for a 10-year period.<br /> According to Efficientia's president Jose Raimundo Dias da Fonseca, all the funds needed for the construction will be provided under the energy efficiency and research and development (R&D) programmes of Cemig and its subsidiaries.
