Brazil greenlights 901 MW of green projects from A-4 auction

June 6 (Renewables Now) - Brazil's power sector regulator Aneel gave the go-ahead Tuesday to 33 green projects with a combined capacity surpassing 901 MW that won contracts in the A-4 energy auction.

Under the auction rules, held on April 4, 2018, power supply is scheduled to being on January 1, 2022. More details on the approved winners are available in the table below.

The tender awarded 1,024.5 MW of power capacity at an average price of BRL 124.75 per MWh (USD 32.65/EUR 27.75). As of now, Aneel is waiting documentation from the remaining six projects.
