The Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy has allowed four renewable energy projects with a combined capacity of 119.1 MW to issue infrastructure debentures.
With the permits, the schemes now have the status of priority projects which is needed to speed up their implementation, according to decrees published last week by national power sector regulator Aneel.

The photovoltaic (PV) project is scheduled to commence operations on November 1, 2018. In regards to the wind farms, the Campo Largo I scheme should start its power supply this October while the remaing projects are expected to enter into service in January 2019.
