Argentine firms plan to build 20-MW PV park in Mendoza - report
Nov 26, 2014 - Argentine firms Sienergy SA and Distrocuyo SA are on track to start construction of a 20-MW photovoltaic (PV) park in Mendoza province in early 2015, local daily Los Andes said Monday, quoting project manager Luciano Masnu.
The companies have successfully presented the project at a public hearing and expect to sign a 15-year power purchase agreement with Argentine wholesale market administrator Cammesa.
The Valle Solar PV park will be built with Chinese equipment in an industrial area of Lujan de Cuyo department, with an investment of USD 50 million (EUR 40.2m).
The other partners in the project are Himin and Mendosol.
