Jul 01, 2022 17:05 CESTAugust 18 (Renewables Now) - The Argentine government, through the Project for Renewable Energy in Rural Markets (PERMER), will hold a tender for the development of a 1,239-kWp solar power project in Salta province.
Located more than 2,700 metres above sea level in the Valle de Luracacao, the government estimates the project will require an investment of USD 6 million (EUR 5m), it announced on Tuesday.
The photovoltaic (PV) array will supply more than 400 rural homes, nine schools, four healthcare facilities, a police station, churches and neighbourhood centres of eight Diaguita Calchaqui indigenous communities.
Interested parties have until September 15, 2021 to submit their bids with the Argentine government in order to participate in the tender. Details are available in Spanish on PERMER's official website: https://permer.minem.gob.ar/licitacion/detalle/id/30
