Chile's renewables share falls to 29.8% in May
Jun 29, 2022 11:48 CESTOctober 17 (Renewables Now) - Companies and consortia interested in bidding as part of a 40-MW solar tender in Afghanistan still have time until October 30 to prequalify for the process.
Interested parties were supposed to submit applications in response to the pre-qualification document by October 16, 2019, but the process was extended in order to provide enough time to conclude the Application Forms and compile supporting documents for submission.
According to an Information Brief from early October, the Ministry of Energy and Water expected to announce prequalified bidders sometime in December and later that month issue a request for proposals (RfP).
The winner of the tender will be in charge of the design, construction and commissioning of a 40-MW solar park at the Hisar-e-Shahi Industrial Park of Nangarhar. It will also be responsible for the plant's operation and maintenance.
