The Norwegian parliament has voted to ask the government to present an independent review of the floating offshore wind support programme so that the parliament can consider it before making final commitments.

The European Union on Tuesday launched a Mediterranean clean energy initiative that will mobilise up to up to EUR 25 billion (USD 28.9bn) in public and private investment by 2035 to tap into the massive wind, solar and green hydrogen potential of North Africa and the Middle East (MENA) and set up clean technology manufacturing across the region.
