Aug 27, 2014 - Chinese photovoltaics (PV) maker Yingli Green Energy Holding Co Ltd (NYSE:YGE) said today it will supply 66 MWp of its multicrystalline modules for four utility-scale PV schemes in the UK.
The order came from project developer Push Energy Ltd. The four solar plants, located in East Anglia, are to be completed by February 2015.
Push Energy’s main focus is on rural solar farming. Through its subsidiary Push Build it provides engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the projects it develops.
Yingli ranked between the top six global suppliers of modules for the second quarter of 2014. This month the company also agreed to supply its modules for several Japanese solar plants with an aggregate capacity of over 33 MW.
