West Holdings, TUeV SUeD to partner on solar park testing - report
Aug 15, 2013 - Japanese solar power system installer West Holdings Corp (TYO:1407) has joined hands with Germany's TUeV SUeD to offer certification services for the expected power generation performance of solar parks, the Nikkei said Wednesday.
The service will be provided under a partnership with the German technology services company, which certifies the performance of solar plants via standards of the International Electrotechnical Commission.
West Holdings will assess solar park projects and then submit reports to its German partner, which will then prepare the certification documents.
The certification price will depend on the size of the project, starting from JPY 1.5 million (USD 15,300/EUR 11,500). Of that amount, West Holdings will get a commission.
