-- Aquila European Renewables seals exclusive deal for 34.5-MW Finnish wind buy

Aquila European Renewables Income Fund plc (LON:AERS) announced plans to acquire the owner of a 34.55-MW wind complex in Finland.

-- Univergy sells 75-MW portfolio of PV projects in Seville

Spanish-Japanese renewable energy company Univergy International SL has sold 75 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Seville to Madrid-based investment management firm Everwood Capital.

-- Bank of America takes stake in 405-MW wind portfolio of EDP

Portuguese power utility EDP - Energias de Portugal SA (ELI:EDP) has secured USD 421 million in tax equity from Bank of America Corp (NYSE:BAC) for a share in a 405-MW onshore wind project portfolio.

-- Glennmont buys shovel-ready Finnish wind project of 211.4 MW

London-based fund manager Glennmont Partners said it has acquired a 211.4-MW wind project in Finland from Ilmatar Energy, marking its first investment in the Nordic market.

-- EDF Renouvelables preps for buyout of Futuren

French wind power producer Futuren SA (EPA:FTRN) announced that the renewables arm of EDF SA (EPA:EDF) is preparing to file a draft buyout offer for the company.

-- Battery management specialist Titan AES raises USD 10m

US ultrasound-based battery management expert Titan Advanced Energy Solutions Inc, or Titan AES, has closed a USD-10-million Series A financing round, the company announced.

-- Energiekontor sheds Waldfeucht wind farm in Germany

Energiekontor AG (ETR:EKT) said it has sold the Waldfeucht onshore wind farm located in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia to Hamburg-based asset manager CEE Group.

-- Brazil's CPFL closes acquisition of State Grid's interest in renewables arm

Brazilian energy company CPFL Energia SA (BVMF:CPFE3) on Monday announced it has closed the acquisition of the shares in CPFL Energias Renovaveis (BVMF:CPRE3) held by a local unit of State Grid Corporation of China.

US renewables firm Tri Global Energy LLC (TGE) said it has agreed to sell a 360-MW wind project in Texas to alternative investment management Silverpeak.

-- Masdar close to buying 20% of India's Hero Future Energies - report

Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC, better known as Masdar, is ready to buy a 20% stake in Indian renewable power producer Hero Future Energies, the Economic Times reports.

-- ReneSola closes USD-11m share sale to Shah Capital

Chinese solar project developer ReneSola Ltd (NYSE:SOL) has closed a deal that allowed its existing shareholder Shah Capital Opportunity Fund LP to buy USD 11 million (EUR 10m) worth of the company’s shares.

Norway-based REC Silicon ASA (OSE:REC) said it considers selling its facility in Butte, Montana, where it produces silane gas for use in semiconductors and semiconductor polysilicon.

-- Ayala's AC Energy, UPC create 1-GW renewables development JV

AC Energy Inc, part of the Philippines' Ayala Corp (PSE:AC), has set up a joint venture with the solar power platform of UPC Renewables to develop and build over 1 GW of renewable energy plants in the Asia Pacific.

-- ITM Power eyes GBP 52m in fresh funds, sets up hydrogen JV with Linde

ITM Power Plc (LON:ITM) announced the creation of a green hydrogen joint venture with industrial gases and engineering company Linde, along with several transactions to raise at least GBP 52 million gross in total.
