-- Eolus hands over 68.4-MW Swedish wind park to Aquila

Swedish wind project developer Eolus Vind AB (STO:EOLU-B) said it has completed a 68.4-MW wind farm project in Sweden and transferred ownership of the power plant to Germany’s Aquila Capital.

-- Brazil's CPFL concludes buyout of renewables arm

Brazilian energy company CPFL Energia (BVMF:CPFE3) has concluded the acquisition of State Grid Brazil Power Participacoes SA's shares in CPFL Energias Renovaveis (BVMF:CPRE3).

-- Ibedrola wraps up sale of 40% in East Anglia One offshore wind project

Iberdrola SA (BME:IBE) has closed the sale of the 40% stake it held in the company owning the 714-MW East Anglia One offshore wind project in the UK to a unit of Australia’s Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG).

-- US Solar Fund buys and funds 128-MW solar project in Utah

London-listed investment company US Solar Fund Plc (LON:USF) said it has finalised the acquisition of and secured financing for the 128-MW of Milford solar project in the US state of Utah.

-- Windlab mulls options, reports reduced H1 loss

Aussie renewables developer Windlab Ltd (ASX:WND) has started a review of its strategic options in an attempt to close the gap between its stock price and the board’s view on the underlying value of its assets and operations.

-- Eneco says sale on schedule, to be completed in 2020

The privatisation of Dutch utility Eneco is in progress and a potential buyer of the company is to be announced around Christmas, the company said in its first-half financial report.

German renewable energy firms Windwaerts Energie and Juwi have prepared different offers for the operators of wind farms in Germany that are facing the end of EEG remuneration.

-- BayWa buys Canadian asset management software developer PowerHub

BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH has taken over Toronto-based software house PowerHub, which develops a cloud-based asset intelligence software solution that can be used in the field of renewables.

-- Engie to acquire Mobisol to boost off-grid solar ops in Africa

French power utility Engie SA (EPA:ENGI) is acquiring off-grid solar solutions provider Mobisol seeking to expand its decentralised energy services in Africa.

-- Titan Wind buys Ambau plant to make offshore wind turbine foundations

Chinese onshore wind tower maker Titan Wind Energy (Suzhou) Co Ltd (SHE:002531) is to start a new business line of making foundations for offshore wind turbines after acquiring a production facility in the German town of Cuxhaven.

-- WEC Energy to buy 80% stake in 300-MW Nebraska wind project

WEC Energy Group (NYSE:WEC) said it has entered into an agreement to buy an 80% stake in a 300-MW wind project in Nebraska known as the Thunderhead Wind Energy Center.

-- Sonnedix adds 2 MW of operating PV to Italian portfolio

Independent solar power producer Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd said that it has acquired two solar plants with a combined capacity of 2 MW in Italy.

-- Tri Global sells 231-MW Texas wind project to Invenergy

US renewables firm Tri Global Energy LLC (TGE) said it has sold a 231-MW wind project in the Texas Panhandle to Chicago-based sector player Invenergy LLC.

-- EDF Renewables buys EV charging firm PowerFlex Systems

EDF Renewables North America said it has acquired electric vehicle (EV) charging technology startup PowerFlex Systems, seeking to further expand in the distributed energy market.

-- Poland's Tauron buying 180-MW wind portfolio

Polish energy company Tauron Polska Energia SA (WSE:TPE) has signed a deal to buy five wind parks with a combined capacity of 180 MW from the in.ventus group.

-- Soto Solar bags EUR 100m for PV projects in Spain

Madrid-based solar investor and manager Soto Solar has secured more than EUR 100 million to invest in solar projects in Spain.

-- Poland's PGE, KGHM plan solar JV

Polish power group PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA (WSE:PGE) will be building solar photovoltaic (PV) parks for copper and silver producer KGHM Polska Miedz SA (WSE:KGH), it was announced.

-- Potentia to buy 22 MW of wind, solar in Canada

Canada-based Potentia Renewables Inc has sealed a deal to acquire the local renewable energy portfolio of Dream Hard Asset Alternatives Trust, including 13.2 MW of wind and 9.2 MW of solar assets.

-- BayWa offloads 94.6-MW Swedish wind project to SUSI

The renewables arm of German diversified group BayWa AG (ETR:BYW6) said it has sold a 94.6-MW wind project in Sweden to Swiss sustainable infrastructure investor SUSI Partners AG.

-- Basque pension fund entity acquires stake in Spain's Holaluz

Basque pension fund entity Geroa EPSV has entered the shareholding structure of Spanish renewable power retailer Holaluz in a deal that includes a seat on the board of directors.

-- Juwi sells 10.4-MW wind farm in Germany to Terravent

German renewables developer Juwi Group said it has sold a 10.35-MW wind farm in southwestern Germany to compatriot Terravent Deutschland GmbH for an undisclosed sum.

-- E.on preps for squeeze-out at Innogy

German utility E.on SE (ETR:EOAN) is getting ready to undertake a squeeze-out at Innogy SE (ETR:IGY) as soon as it gets the green light by the European Commission (EC) to acquire the energy company.

-- SunSystem Technology acquires New Jersey solar O&M co

California-based SunSystem Technology LLC (SST) has acquired solar operations and maintenance (O&M) specialist Power Overhaul, seeking to expand its offering in the US solar O&M market.

-- Suzlon loses Vestas' backing and withdraws offer to lenders - report

Denmark’s Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) has backed away from the debt-resolution plan for Suzlon Energy Ltd (BOM:532667), thus forcing the troubled Indian wind turbine maker to withdraw its repayment offer to lenders, Bloomberg reports.
