Triple Point Energy Efficiency Infrastructure Company Plc (LON:TEEC) announced the acquisition of a portfolio of six operational, run-of-river hydroelectric power generation assets in Scotland with a total installed capacity of 4.1 MW.

-- Acciona Energia sets foot in Brazil with 850-MW wind acquisition

Spanish renewables developer Corporacion Acciona Energias Renovables SA (BME:ANE), doing business as Acciona Energia, has signed an agreement to acquire roughly 850 MW of wind projects in Brazil and thus enter the country's renewable energy market.

US solar and electric mobility infrastructure firm iSun Inc (NASDAQ:ISUN) has agreed to buy a minority stake of an undisclosed value in commercial solar developer Encore Renewable Energy.

Energy Dome SpA announced that it has closed a funding round securing USD 11 million to finalise the construction of a demonstration 2.5-MW/4-MWh carbon dioxide (CO2) battery storage project in Sardinia and to speed up business growth.

-- US Covanta wraps up USD 5.3bn transition to private co

Swedish investment firm EQT AB (STO:EQT) has completed the acquisition of US waste-to-energy specialist Covanta Holding Corp in a deal valued at about USD 5.3 billion, including debt.

-- Koch Industries unit acquires solar EPC firm DEPCOM

Koch Engineered Solutions (KES), a unit of Koch Industries Inc, has taken over DEPCOM Power Inc, an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm specialising in utility-scale solar power plants.

-- BW Ideol to buy into 30-MW floating wind project in France

BW Ideol (OSE:BWIDL) has agreed to acquire a 5% stake in a 30-MW floating wind pilot project in the French Mediterranean, which is being developed by a consortium led by French renewable power producer Qair.

-- Acciona Energia, Plug Power create Iberian green hydrogen JV

US-based hydrogen fuel cell specialist Plug Power Inc (NASDAQ:PLUG) and Spanish renewables pure-player Acciona Energia (BME:ANE) said that they have formed a 50/50 joint venture (JV) aimed at developing and operating green hydrogen projects in Spain and Portugal.

-- Westbridge buys majority stake in 236-MWp solar project in Alberta

Canadian solar and energy storage developer Westbridge Energy Corporation (CVE:WEB) has purchased a 75% stake in the developer of a 236-MW DC solar project with a 100-MW battery component in Alberta, Canada.

-- JERA Americas snaps up 300-MW Texas wind scheme from Apex

JERA Americas, part of Japanese energy trader JERA Co, announced it has taken full control of the 300-MW El Sauz wind power project in Texas.

-- Neoen to divest 22-MWp solar plant duo in France

France’s Neoen SA (EPA:NEOEN) has agreed to offload its entire interest in two operational solar power plants in its home market totalling 21.7 MWp for nearly EUR 29 million.

-- Brazil's Copel concludes buy of 187-MW wind complex from Voltalia

Brazilian power utility Companhia Paranaense de Energia (BVMF:CPLE6), better known as Copel, has completed the purchase of a 186.7-MW wind power complex from Voltalia Energia do Brasil SA.

-- Bulgaria's Malex Management gets antitrust nod to acquire Helios Projects

Bulgaria's Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) said that it gave the green light to Sofia-based investment company Malex Management to acquire, through its majority-owned unit Helios Energy Invest, indirect shareholding interest in local solar power plant operator Helios Projects from Switzerland-based H1 Venture Swiss Holding.

SinglePoint Inc (OTCQB:SING) has agreed to acquire 80.1% of Boston Solar, a solar-focused engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company operating in New England, as part of a strategy to focus on residential, small commercial and light industrial solar services.

-- Sembcorp to buy into 1.9-GW wind-solar portfolio in China

Singapore-based utilities group Sembcorp Industries Ltd (SGX:U96) has agreed to buy a 35% interest in China’s SDIC New Energy and thus get access to its 1.9-GW portfolio of wind and solar parks in China.

-- BayWa r.e. snaps up Beacon Solar to boost US distribution network

BayWa r.e. has acquired Beacon Solar, the solar products distribution division of US roofing distributor Beacon (NASDAQ:BECN), to expand its solar and roofing equipment offering in the country.

-- EDF, Deep Wind Offshore team up to bid for offshore wind in Norway

Norwegian company Deep Wind Offshore and EDF Renewables, a subsidiary of French electric utility EDF SA (EPA:EDF), have formed a 50/50 joint venture to bid for acreage in Norway’s upcoming offshore wind tendering process.

Cloudberry Clean Energy ASA (OSE:CLOUD) has acquired the 4.5-MW operating hydropower plant Amotsfoss Kraft AS in southeastern Norway after the conclusion of the commissioning period for the facility.

Brazilian renewables company Renova Energia SA (BVMF:RNEW11) confirmed that it has concluded the sale of its small hydropower (HPP) unit.

Shares in Spanish solar energy developer Solarpack Corporacion Tecnologica SA (BME:SPK) will be suspended from trading in Spain at the request of the company's soon-to-be new owner, Spain’s stock market regulator CNMV said.
