-- Cloudberry sells part of 100-MW Swedish lake wind project

Nordic renewable energy company Cloudberry Clean Energy AS is joining hands with investment manager Downing LLP to own and build the 100-MW Rewind Vanern lake wind project in Sweden.

-- Finerge agrees EUR 150m in financing for solar buys in Iberia

Portuguese renewable power company Finerge Group has closed a EUR-150-million finance round with four banks in order to acquire solar parks in Portugal and Spain, local media reported.

-- CIP gets in 1-GW plus onshore wind portfolio in Spain

Danish investor Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners P/S (CIP) will be investing in a 1-GW plus onshore wind portfolio in Spain developed by local firm Forestalia.

-- Greenbacker's portfolio grows with 80-MW S Dakota solar buy

Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company LLC has bought an 80-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in South Dakota from Houston-based power producer Broad Reach Power LLC.

-- MET Renewables seeks antitrust nod to acquire Enel Green Power Bulgaria

Bulgaria's competition regulator said that MET Renewables Holding, part of Switzerland-headquartered energy company MET Group, is seeking approval to acquire wind power company Enel Green Power Bulgaria.

-- Magnetar Capital buys Lendlease's renewables unit

Illinois-based hedge fund Magnetar Capital said it has purchased the renewable energy subsidiary of Australian property and infrastructure company Lendlease Group (ASX:LLC).

-- Falck, Eni JV to buy 30 MW solar project in US

The North American joint venture (JV) between Falck Renewables SpA (BIT:FKR) and oil-and-gas major Eni SpA (BIT:ENI) signed an agreement to acquire a 30-MW ready-to-build solar project from Savion LLC.

-- Spruce Finances buys more rooftop PV assets from NRG, WEC

US distributed generation solar plants operator Spruce Finance has grown its rooftop solar portfolio to 337 MW with two new acquisitions, one of which from NRG.

-- AES to form 12-GW renewables platform by absorbing sPower

Independent power producer sPower will be merging with the US clean energy development business of one of its owners -- The AES Corporation (NYSE:AES) -- to create a platform with a combined 12-GW renewables development pipeline.

-- ReneSola wraps up purchase of 200 MW of US solar, energy storage

Solar project developer ReneSola Ltd (NYSE:SOL) said it has closed the purchase of about 200 MW of distributed generation and solar plus energy storage projects in the US from Nova Development Management.

-- China's SPIC buys Mexican IPP Zuma Energia

China’s State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) has acquired Mexican independent power producer (IPP) Zuma Energia.

-- Capital Dynamics finalises 316 MW solar buy

The Clean Energy Infrastructure (CEI) business of asset manager Capital Dynamics has wrapped up the acquisition of 316 MW of solar power generating capacity in direct current (DC) from LS Power.

-- France's CVE closes purchase of 47 MWp of solar from Solarcentury

French renewable energy producer CVE Group has acquired 47 MWp of solar projects at home from UK developer Solarcentury.

-- Boralex takes full control of 296-MW wind portfolio in Quebec

Canadian renewable energy company Boralex Inc (TSE:BLX) said it will acquire the minority stake it does not already have in three wind farms in Quebec with a combined capacity of 296 MW.
