-- Brazil's Cemig to shed interest in Renova Energia
Brazilian utility Cia Energetica de Minas Gerais SA (BVMF:CMIG4), better known as Cemig, has agreed to sell its entire stake in renewables developer Renova Energia SA (BVMF:RNEW11) to AP Energias Renovaveis, an investment fund managed by Mantiq Investmentos Ltda.
-- EDPR to sell 181-MW wind portfolio in Spain to China Three Gorges
EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) announced it has agreed to sell a 100% equity stake in a 181-MW operational wind portfolio in Spain to China Three Gorges SA (CTG).
-- Taaleri acquires 50-MWp shovel-ready solar project in Spain
Finnish wealth manager Taaleri Plc (HEL:TAALA) said its Taaleri SolarWind II fund purchased 100% ownership of the 50-MWp Niebla solar project located in Spain's southern region of Andalusia.
-- Swiss AEW Energie to buy minority in 120-MW hydro plant
Swiss energy company AEW Energie AG has agreed to buy a 23% stake in the Ryburg-Schwoerstadt hydropower plant on the river Rhine in northern Switzerland from the canton of Aargau for CHF 150 million.
-- UKCI, Norfund back local investment in 700-MW S African wind portfolio
UK Climate Investments (UKCI), managed by Macquarie Group Ltd (ASX:MQG), and Norfund said they are investing in a South African joint venture to help it fund its 40% equity investment in a 700-MW portfolio of onshore wind farms in South Africa.

US renewable energy asset owner D E Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI) and Torch Clean Energy have acquired a 75-MW solar project in Colorado from developer Cypress Creek Renewables LLC.
-- Ignitis to buy 80-MW solar project bundle in Poland
Lithuanian utility Ignitis Group (VSE:IGN1L) said its renewables subsidiary will acquire companies that are developing an up to 80-MW portfolio of solar projects in Poland.
-- Aega seeks to buy two more solar parks in Italy
Norwegian renewables investment firm Aega ASA (OSE:AEGA) has reached an exclusivity agreement to boost its portfolio with the potential acquisition of two unidentified solar farms in Italy with a combined capacity of 1.3 MW.
-- Spain's EiDF buys 75 MW of mature solar projects at home
Spanish firm Energia, Innovacion y Desarrollo Fotovoltaico, or EiDF Solar, announced the acquisition of a portfolio of 75 MW of solar PV projects in its home country.
-- Coro Energy clinches deal for Vietnam rooftop solar JV
Coro Energy Plc (LON:CORO) has reached a binding agreement to take control of a newly-formed joint venture in Vietnam through which it will co-own a portfolio of commercial and industrial (C&I) rooftop solar projects in Vietnam alongside Vinh Phuc Energy JSC (VPE).
-- Cloudberry seeks Captiva deal to elevate role in operation of renewables
Cloudberry Clean Energy ASA (OSE:CLOUD) has signed a letter of intent to potentially acquire 60% of Norwegian asset management group Captiva, with a view to beefing up its capabilities in hydro and wind development and operation.
-- Serbian anti-trust body clears acquisition of BPP Biogas by PEPO Energy
Serbia's competition authority has approved the acquisition of electricity producer BPP Biogas by PEPO Energy, a unit of Switzerland-based energy company MET Group, it said.
-- Prospect14 sells 1-GW solar project bundle in PJM
US clean energy developer and investor Prospect14 announced it has divested a portfolio of solar and solar-plus-storage projects in Virginia and Pennsylvania with a combined direct current (DC) capacity of about 1 GW.
-- Engie wraps up 40% stake purchase in 100-MW CSP plant in S Africa
French utility Engie SA (EPA:ENGI) announced it has closed the acquisition of a 40% equity stake in the 100-MW Xina Solar One concentrated solar power (CSP) plant in South Africa from Spanish engineering group Abengoa SA.
-- Hanwha Solutions buys into REC Silicon in US solar value chain push
Hanwha Solutions Corporation (KRX:009830) has struck two deals to acquire a total of 16.67% in Norway-based advanced silicon materials producer REC Silicon ASA so as to seize the momentum for establishing US-based solar manufacturing capabilities in light of new legislation proposed by US lawmakers.
-- Shell joins second floating wind project of Simply Blue off Irish coast
Royal Dutch Shell Plc (AMS:RDSA) has agreed to acquire a 51% stake in the Western Star project offshore Ireland of Irish early-stage marine developer Simply Blue Group, the companies said.
-- CleanCapital buys 12 MW of Massachusetts solar parks from EDF
Clean energy investment platform CleanCapital has bought from EDF Renewables two operating solar power plants in Massachusetts with a combined capacity of 11.9 MW, it was announced.
-- Solar sales platform Quativa pockets USD 7m in funding
US marketplace for residential solar sales Quativa, Inc has raised USD 7 million in funding from investors led by Blueprint Equity, the company said.
-- OX2 unveils EUR-650m deal to build wind farm in Finland
Swedish renewables developer OX2 has been contracted to build a zero-subsidy wind farm in Finland of 455.4 MW, the largest one in the country to date, and then sell it to a consortium of local energy companies.
-- Consumers Energy seeks regulatory nod to add 375 MW of solar power
US utility Consumers Energy, the principal subsidiary of CMS Energy (NYSE:CMS), has signed deals to add 375 MW of solar energy resources in Michigan and is now awaiting their approval by local regulators.
-- Japan's Eurus completes partial transfer of 69-MW Dutch wind portfolio
Japanese wind power developer Eurus Energy Holdings Corporation announced it has completed the partial transfer of its interest in a 68.8-MW wind portfolio to Dutch port operator Groningen Seaports NV.
-- Macquarie fund negotiating buy of French solar firm Apex Energies
Macquarie Group Ltd’s (ASX:MQG) Macquarie Asset Management said it has started exclusive talks to acquire 90% of Apex Energies Group, a French solar platform that currently operates 530 sites totalling 92 MW of installed capacity.
