-- Elliott Management keen on selling 300-MW Aussie solar platform - report

US investment manager Elliott Management Corporation is looking for buyers for its Australian solar power generation portfolio totalling roughly 300 MW, The Australian reports.

-- Alpiq buys 18 MW of solar projects from ABO Wind in Spain

Swiss power producer and energy trader Alpiq announced that it has acquired an 18-MW solar portfolio in Spain from Germany’s ABO Wind AG (ETR:AB9).

-- Etrion sheds 45-MW Japanese PV project, more to follow in coming weeks

Solar power producer Etrion Corp (TSE:ETX) said it has finalised the sale of its 45-MW Niigata solar park project in Japan in a deal with a gross value of JPY 6.3 billion.

-- Modular wind turbines maker Norhybrid bags USD 3m

Norhybrid Renewables AS, a Norwegian developer of a modular wind turbine with a vertical-axis design, has secured USD 3 million in investments.

-- Magnora to lift stake in Swedish perovskite firm Evolar

Renewables investor Magnora ASA (OSL:MGN) announced plans to boost its shareholding in Swedish solar cell technology company Evolar AB to 40.7%.

-- Petrobras completes sale of 26-MW wind farm in Brazil

Brazilian state-controlled company Petroleo Brasileiro SA (BVMF:PETR4), or Petrobras, has closed the sale of its entire stake in a 26-MW wind farm in Rio Grande do Norte state.

-- BP buys 9-GW solar project pipeline in US

UK-based oil and gas group BP Plc (LON:BP) said it has agreed to acquire a 9-GW solar project pipeline in the US from developer 7X Energy Inc.

-- RES buys 412 MW of DNV's wind assets under management

UK renewable energy company RES said it has acquired some asset management activities of Norway-based DNV across 412 MW of wind farms in operation in the UK and Ireland.

-- DIF acquires 108 MW of wind projects in Poland

Infrastructure fund manager DIF Capital Partners said it has acquired four construction-ready onshore wind projects totalling 108 MW in Poland from German wind developer Sabowind.

-- Oil and gas co Prominence to buy into Aussie green H2 developer Patriot

Oil and gas exploration and development company Prominence Energy NL (ASX:PRM) plans to enter the green hydrogen market in Australia through the purchase of a minority stake in Patriot Hydrogen Pty Ltd.

-- Asset manager Instar closes sale of 30-MW wind portfolio in BC

Instar Asset Management announced it has finalised the sale of the 30-MW Okanagan Wind platform in British Columbia to Calgary-based Canadian Power Holdings Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CK Group.

-- Saudi Aramco invests in storage developer Energy Vault

The corporate venturing subsidiary of energy and chemicals producer Saudi Aramco (TADAWUL:2222) has made an investment of an undisclosed amount in renewable energy storage systems maker Energy Vault Inc.

-- Tri Global sheds 350-MW of wind, solar projects to Leeward

US renewables developer Tri Global Energy has agreed to offload up to 350 MW of wind and solar power projects in Indiana to Leeward Renewable Energy.

-- Berkshire Hathaway unit snaps up 54-MW wind project in Iowa

BHE Renewables LLC, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Energy Company, said it has finalised the purchase of a 54-MW wind project in Iowa from developer RPM Access LLC for an undisclosed sum.

-- Vestas sells Colorado tower factory to CS Wind

Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) has signed an agreement to sell its tower factory in Pueblo, Colorado, to South Korean towers maker CS Wind Corp (KRX:112610).

-- Octopus Renewables to acquire 50-MW wind project in Scotland

Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust plc (LON:ORIT) said it has agreed to acquire the rights to build the 50-MW Cumberhead wind farm in South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

-- Etrion arranges sale of 9.5-MWp solar farm in Japan

Solar power producer Etrion Corp (TSE:ETX) announced on it has struck an agreement to sell its 9.5-MW (direct current) Misawa solar farm in Japan.

-- PV windows developer Next raises USD 13.4m

US photovoltaic windows developer Next Energy Technologies Inc has raised USD 13.4 million in a Series C funding round that should help the company commercialise its technology.

-- Pearce Renewables buys fellow O&M firm Mortenson Energy Services

Pearce Renewables, a division of operations, maintenance and engineering services provider Pearce Services, has taken over sector player Mortenson Energy Services LLC, which focuses on the wind and solar industries.

-- ContourGlobal, EIP ink deal to buy 18 MW of solar in Italy

UK-based power generator ContourGlobal plc (LON:GLO) and Swiss investment manager Energy Infrastructure Partners AG (EIO) have reached an agreement to acquire an 18-MW solar farm portfolio in Italy.

-- Metacon to take full control of Greek hydrogen specialist Helbio

Metacon AB (FRA:M16), the Swedish developer of a technology that converts biogas into hydrogen, has agreed to acquire the 41.13% stake it did not already own in Greek hydrogen sector player Helbio Holdings SA.

-- Taaleri fund invests in 252 MW of Finnish wind

The Taaleri SolarWind II fund of the energy unit of Finnish asset manager Taaleri Plc (HEL:TAALA) has invested in the Isoneva and Murtotuuli wind farm projects in Finland totalling 252 MW.

-- Saipem to acquire floating wind ops of Naval Energies

Italian oil and gas contractor Saipem SpA (BIT:SPM) said it will acquire the floating wind business of Naval Energies, a subsidiary of French naval defence company Naval Group.
