-- Magnora buys into 500-MW offshore wind project in Northern Europe

Magnora ASA (FRA:4SM) has finalised a deal to buy an up to 5% stake, with an option to reach up to 50%, in an unnamed shallow-water offshore wind project of 500 MW in Northern Europe.

-- Eni, Falck formally create JV to work on 1 GW of US renewables

Italy's Falck Renewables SpA (BIT:FKR) has finalised its strategic agreement with oil and gas major Eni SpA (BIT:ENI) to jointly develop at least 1 GW of onshore wind, solar and energy storage projects in the US by end-2023.

Under the established partnership, the two companies, through their units Falck Renewables North America Inc (FRNA) and Eni New Energy US Inc (ENE US), are creating a 50/50 joint venture (JV).

-- CIP buying 350-MW solar project in Texas

An affiliate of Denmark’s Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners P/S has agreed to acquire a 350-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Texas for an undisclosed sum.

-- Greencoat to buy 51.9-MW French wind portfolio from John Laing

Irish renewable infrastructure company Greencoat Renewables Plc (LON:GRP) said it has agreed to invest EUR 30.3 million to buy a portfolio of wind farms in France.

-- Aquila buys additional 9.6 MW in Svindbaek wind farm in Denmark

Aquila European Renewables Income Fund plc (LON:AERS) has finalised the purchase of the 9.6-MW Svindbaek II onshore wind farm, a three-turbine portion of the larger Svindbaek complex in Denmark.

-- Sonnedix acquires 17.7 MWp of unsubsidised Italian PV plants

Independent solar power producer Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd said that it has acquired 17.7 MWp of Italian solar plants from a joint venture (JV) formed by Canadian Solar Inc (NASDAQ:CSIQ) and Manni Energy Srl.

-- Adani approves 2.1-GW solar JV with Total Solar Singapore

India’s Adani Green Energy Ltd (BOM:541450) has agreed to set up a joint venture (JV) with a Singaporean unit of French oil and gas major Total SA (EPA:FP) and transfer 2.1 GW of its solar projects into the new entity.

-- Foresight, Belltown form 300-MW wind JV

Private equity investment manager Foresight Group LLC has set up a joint venture with UK-based renewables developer Belltown Power Ltd to develop the latter’s over 300-MW pipeline of onshore wind projects in the UK.

-- Iberdrola mulls sale of 40% stake in Wikinger offshore wind farm - report

Iberdrola SA (BME:IBE) is looking to sell a stake of around 40% in the 350-MW Wikinger offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea, Spanish business newspaper Expansion has reported citing sources close to the transaction.

-- Mitsubishi, Chubu complete EUR-4.1bn acquisition of Eneco

Japan’s Mitsubishi Corp (TYO:8058) and Chubu Electric Power Co Inc (TYO:9502) have completed their acquisition of Dutch energy company Eneco for a total value of EUR 4.1 billion.

-- ReneSola to shed 6.8 MW of Canadian PV projects to Grasshopper

Solar project developer ReneSola (NYSE:SOL) said it has agreed to offload a 6.8-MW portfolio of photovoltaic (PV) projects in Canada to local sector player Grasshopper Energy.

-- CUI Global to buy solar EPC firm Reach Construction

CUI Global Inc (NASDAQ:CUI) has signed a deal to acquire Reach Construction Group LLC, a US-based engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm specialising in utility-scale solar power installations.

-- Eneva requests 2nd meeting with takeover target AES Tiete

Brazilian energy company Eneva SA (B3:ENEV3) wants another meeting with the legal advisors of takeover target AES Tiete Energia SA (B3:TIET11) in order to present the regulatory, tax and structural details for the proposed transaction.

-- Falck closes acquisition of 10-MW Spanish wind park

Italy-based Falck Renewables SpA (BIT:FKR) announced it has completed the acquisition of the 10-MW Carrecastro wind park in Spain from ASCIA Renovables SL.
