-- Brazil's Petrobras starts sale of 25.4 MW of small HPPs

Brazilian state-run oil and gas giant Petrobras (BVMF:PETR4) said it is initiating the process of divesting its stakes in two small hydrpower plants (HPPs) totaling 25.4 MW.

-- Aquila buying minority stake in 400-MW Norwegian wind project

Aquila European Renewables Income Fund plc (LON:AERS) is buying a 14% stake in a 400-MW wind park that is currently under construction in Northern Norway.

-- Japan's Tohoku Eletric buys stake in 51.6-MW PV plant

Japanese utility Tohoku Electric Power (TYO:9506) has acquired a 45% stake in a 51.6-MW solar park in Miyagi prefecture, renewable energy firm SB Energy Corp announced.

-- India's Emami sheds solar ops to Brookfield Asset Management - report

India’s Emami Group has sold its solar power business to Canadian investment company Brookfield Asset Management, Moneycontrol reports.

-- CPFL Energia fixes share price for renewable unit delisting tender

Brazilian energy company CPFL Energia (BVMF:CPFE3) has set at BRL 18.24 the share price for the June 10 delisting tender offer for its unit renewables unit CFPL Renovaveis.

-- BayWa re buys 45-MW Scottish zero-subsidy wind project

BayWa re renewable energy GmbH has taken possession of a 45-MW wind farm in Scotland from local energy projects developer Brockwell Energy Ltd.

-- Quaise raises USD 6m in seed financing for new geothermal technology

Quaise Inc, a US company developing a new drilling technology for the geothermal energy sector, said it has secured USD 6 million (EUR 5.3m) in seed funding.

-- Blink, Envoy Technologies agree EV charging JV

US operator of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations Blink Charging Co (NASDAQ: BLNK) said it has agreed to form a joint venture (JV) with community-based shared mobility platform Envoy Technologies Inc.

-- Greencoat wraps up purchase of 51.9-MW French wind bundle

Irish renewable infrastructure company Greencoat Renewables Plc (LON:GRP) said it has closed the acquisition of a 51.9-MW portfolio of operational wind farms in France.

-- Court approves Windlab takeover

Australian wind farm development and management firm Windlab Ltd (ASX:WND) said a takeover by investment vehicle Wind Acquisition 1 Pty Ltd and Squadron Wind Energy Development Pty Ltd has been given the green light by the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

-- Sun Exchange raises USD 4m to enable more African solar projects

South Africa-based peer-to-peer solar leasing platform Sun Exchange said it has closed a USD-4-million Series A funding round that will enable it to continue the solar project expansion across Sub-Saharan Africa driven by its members.

-- Former Zara chief buys 5% stake in Spain's Greenalia

Spanish businessman Jose Maria Castellano has signed an agreement to purchase a 5% stake in Greenalia SA (BME:GRN), the renewable energy group announced.
