-- Foresight Solar Fund seeks GBP 40m in placing

Foresight Solar Fund Ltd (LON:FSFL) said it plans to raise GBP 40 million by placing new shares to fund the purchase of 134.2 MW of UK solar assets.

Global infrastructure investment firm InfraRed Capital Partners has bought a 40% stake in the 228-MW Lal Lal Wind Farm in Australia, shortly after Ontario-based Northleaf Capital Partners acquired a further 40% in the project.
