-- Encavis buys 11.5-MW French wind farm for BayernLB-marketed fund

German wind and solar park operator Encavis AG (ETR:CAP) said it has acquired a 11.5-MW wind farm in France from compatriot Energiequelle GmbH.

-- Greenbacker buy rights to 5.9-MW solar portfolio from Ameresco

Greenbacker Renewable Energy Co LLC has acquired the rights to a 5.9-MW portfolio of shovel-ready solar projects from energy efficiency and renewables firm Ameresco Inc (NYSE:AMRC).

-- Brookfield to acquire 1.2-GW solar project in Brazil

Brookfield Renewable Partners LP (NYSE:BEP), with its institutional partners, has signed a binding agreement to purchase a 1,200-MW solar project in Brazil, the unit of Canada's Brookfield Asset Management Inc (TSE:BAM.A) announced.

-- EDP, Engie launch offshore wind JV Ocean Winds

Ocean Winds (OW), the 50/50 joint venture (JV) formed by EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) and Engie SA (EPA:ENGI), has been officially launched.

-- Iberdrola once again improves takeover offer for Australia's Infigen

Spanish utility Iberdrola SA (BME:IBE) has once again raised its takeover proposal for renewables company Infigen Energy (ASX:IFN), seeking early acceptance from the Aussie firm’s shareholders.

-- Ormat closes buy of 20-MW energy storage plant in California

An affiliate of US geothermal company Ormat Technologies Inc (NYSE:ORA) has completed the acquisition of a 20-MW/80-MWh energy storage facility in California.

-- Repsol to get hold of half of 1.6-GW-plus wind, solar portfolio in Chile

Spanish oil-and-gas major Repsol SA (BME:REP) said it has signed an agreement with compatriot Grupo Ibereolica Renovables to gain access to a 1,688-MW wind and solar portfolio in Chile in 2025, with a possibility for another 1,000 MW in 2030.

-- Goldman Sachs unit buys 123-MW project from First Solar

First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) has sold a 123-MW solar project in California to a unit of Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS), it was announced.

-- Brazil's Eneva makes new bid for AES Tiete

The management of Brazilian energy company Eneva SA (B3:ENEV3) has made a new attempt to combine its business with peer AES Tiete Energia SA (B3:TIET11).

-- NTPC floats tender to buy 1 GW of solar parks in India

Indian power producer NTPC Ltd (BOM:532555) has issued a request for proposals (RfPs) in a bid to acquire at least 1 GW of operational solar power capacity across India.
