-- Orix, KEPCO team up for 48-MW battery storage project in Japan

Japanese financial services group Orix Corp (TYO:8591) and local utility Kansai Electric Power Company Inc (TYO:9503), or KEPCO, will form a 50/50 joint venture (JV) to develop a 48-MW/113-MWh energy storage plant.

-- Aventron raises CHF 60m to add more green generation capacity

Swiss green power producer Aventron AG has completed a capital increase, raising CHF 60 million (USD 61.66m/EUR 60.46m) in cash proceeds to back the expansion of its power generation capacity.

-- Actis, Mainstream to sell 1-GW-plus African wind platform Lekela Power

Renewables developer Mainstream Renewable Power and private equity firm Actis have agreed to sell their African renewables platform Lekela Power to Infinity Group and Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) in a deal with an enterprise value of about USD 1.5 billion (EUR 1.47bn).
