Canadian Solar Inc (NASDAQ:CSIQ) announced it has closed the sale of an 18-MWp portfolio of solar projects developed under Chile’s Small Distributed Generation Means scheme, also known as PMGD.
-- SolarEdge to buy Italian EV electronics supplier SMRE
Photovoltaic (PV) inverters supplier SolarEdge Technologies Inc (NASDAQ:SEDG) said it has signed a deal to acquire Italian company SMRE SpA (BIT:SMR), which provides powertrain technology and electronics for electric vehicles (EVs).

German wind project developer WKN GmbH, part of PNE (ETR:PNE3), has disposed of the project rights for three wind parks in France with a combined capacity of 27 MW.

EnBW Sverige AB, a Swedish subsidiary that Germany’s EnBW Energie Baden-Wuerttemberg AG (ETR:EBK) founded in July 2018, has acquired two companies operating seven wind farms in Sweden with a combined capacity of 105 MW and two grid companies.

The renewables unit of Avangrid Inc (NYSE:AGR) has sold its ownership interest in the 97-MW Coyote Ridge wind project in South Dakota to WEC Energy Group of Milwaukee.

German energy group E.on (ETR: EOAN) and Danish e-mobility company Clever AS announced they have formed a joint venture for ultra-fast charging stations for electric vehicles that will be positioned throughout Scandinavia.

London-based investment manager Foresight Group LLP has stepped on the German wind market by purchasing, with a partner, 50 MW of wind assets from local wind project developer Wpd AG.

Equinor ASA (NYSE:EQNR), formerly Statoil, has agreed to pass the ownership of the 2.3-MW Hywind Demo floating turbine off the west coast of Norway to subsea connector manufacturer Unitech Offshore.

InfraRed Capital Partners said it has signed an agreement with Progressum Energy Developments to acquire a 1.5-GW non-subsidised solar photovoltaic (PV) portfolio in Spain.

The Danish ministry of finance is no longer supporting state-run Ørsted A/S’s (CPH:ORSTED) plan to sell its local power distribution and residential customer businesses, the company announced on Sunday.
