Brazilian renewable energy company Omega Geracao SA said it has signed a deal to acquire the 303-MW Assurua wind power complex and the right of first offer (ROFO) for 2 GW of wind and solar projects in Bahia state.

EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) announced that it has formally sold an 80% equity shareholding in a 499-MW North American onshore wind portfolio.

EDP Renovaveis SA (ELI:EDPR) announced that its UK-based unit has formally sold a 10% stake in the 950-MW Moray Offshore Windfarm East Ltd (MOWEL) offshore wind project.
-- Japan’s JERA to buy into 300 MW of offshore wind farms in Taiwan, UK
Japanese power producer JERA Co Inc has agreed to buy stakes in two offshore wind farms -- the Formosa 1, which is Taiwan's first commercial-scale plant of this type, and the 172.8-MW Gunfleet Sands in UK waters.

Drax Group Plc (LON:DRX) said it has completed the acquisition of the 2,566-MW UK traditional generation portfolio of Iberdrola-owned Scottish Power Ltd for GBP 702 million in cash.

Apex Clean Energy said it has acquired a 442.5-MW portfolio of under-development solar projects in its home state Virginia from renewable energy developer SolUnesco.
