-- New Drax-Iberdrola deal mitigates risks to capacity payments

Drax Group Plc (LON:DRX) and Iberdrola SA (BME:IBE) have added a risk-sharing mechanism to the asset sale deal they reached in mid-October in view of the recent suspension of the capacity market scheme in the UK.

Finnish renewable energy developer Taaleri Energia Ltd said it has achieved financial close on a newly-acquired wind project in Sweden with a capacity of 23.4 MW.

Japanese diversified group G Three Holdings Corp (TYO:3647) announced it is selling two solar plants with a combined capacity of 5.5 MW.

-- Renova gets bid from AES Tiete for roughly 1.5 GW of wind assets in Brazil

Renova Energia SA (BVMF:RNEW11) has received a binding proposal from local firm AES Tiete Energia SA for the complete acquisition of its roughly 400-MW Alto Sertao III wind power complex plus 1.1 GW of other wind projects.

-- ContourGlobal selling 49% stake in Spanish CSP portfolio for EUR 134m

ContourGlobal Plc (LON:GLO) said it is selling a minority stake in the 250-MW Spanish solar thermal power portfolio it bought from Acciona SA (BME:ANA) earlier in 2018, and added it “remains comfortable” with its current financial guidance for the year.

Italian renewables firm Enertronica SpA (BIT:ENT) is creating a commercial joint venture with Power Construction Corporation of China, or PowerChina, to take part in a tender for the turnkey construction of a 200-MW solar park in Latin America.

-- Poland's PGE starts looking for offshore wind partners

Polish power group PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA (WSE:PGE), or PGE, said it has invited over a dozen parties to potentially cooperate with the company оn building up to 2.55 GW of offshore wind parks.

PGE said in a statement it plans to eventually sell up to a 50% stake in two project companies.
