-- Vector Green snaps up 225-MW solar portfolio from RattanIndia - report

Indian renewable power producer Vector Green Energy Pvt Ltd has purchased a 225-MW portfolio of solar projects from domestic group RattanIndia Power Ltd, formerly known as India Bulls Power, Mercom Capital reports.

-- Shell acquires 49% of Aussie solar developer ESCO Pacific

British-Dutch oil and gas company Royal Dutch Shell PLC is taking a 49% stake in Australian renewables developer ESCO Pacific for an undisclosed amount.

-- Gresham House expands with 50-MW energy storage buy in UK

Gresham House Energy Storage Fund Plc (LON:GRID) said it has acquired 50 MW of battery storage systems in the UK in a deal worth GBP 29.2 million.

-- Cap Vert Energie buys 21 MW of RES-developed PV projects in France

French renewable energy producer Cap Vert Energie (CVE) has closed the acquisition of 21 MW of solar assets at home from UK-based RES Group.

-- Adani Green agrees to buy 480 MW in solar assets from Essel - report

Indian company Essel Infraprojects Ltd has agreed to sell 480 MW of additional solar assets to Adani Green Energy, part of domestic conglomerate Adani Group, the Economic Times reported, citing people in the know.

-- CEE buys 12-MW German wind farm from DunoAir

Hamburg-based asset manager CEE said it has acquired a 12-MW wind farm in Germany from Dutch developer DunoAir, without disclosing the value of the purchase.

-- Sweden's Infranode to invest in large subsidy-free solar project in Denmark

Swedish infrastructure fund Infranode I said it had signed an agreement with Danish solar park developer BeGreen to invest in the Vandel 3 solar scheme in Denmark, calling it the largest such project in the Nordics and the seventh largest in Europe.

-- Gulf Pacific Power takes control of 812-MW wind portfolio in US, Canada

Power infrastructure investor Gulf Pacific Power LLC (GPP) has closed the purchase of a majority stake in the owner of an 812-MW wind farm portfolio in the US and Canada.

-- F2i's EF Solare Italia to buy Spanish solar power co Renovalia

Italian asset manager Fondi Italiani per le Infrastrutture, better known as F2i, said it has agreed to acquire Spanish renewable power producer Renovalia Energy SA from Cerberus Capital Management.

-- Ellomay close to selling 22.6-MW Italian solar portfolio

Ellomay Capital Ltd (TASE:ELLO) said it was in advanced talks to sell its Italian solar power portfolio, with a total capacity of around 22.6 MW, to a third party for about EUR 39 million.

-- Tokyo Gas lands in Mexico with 50% stake in renewables JV with Engie

The North American arm of Tokyo Gas Co Ltd (TYO:9531) has acquired a 50% stake in a joint venture (JV) its parent company established with French utility Engie SA (EPA:ENGI) to build, own and operate renewable power assets in Mexico.

-- Nexif Energy acquires 49-MW hydropower project in Vietnam

Nexif Energy said it has taken a 94% stake in Song Giang Hydropower JSC, which owns a 49-MW hydropower project in the Khanh Hoa province of Vietnam, for an undisclosed amount.

-- BayWa offloads 35 MWp of German solar assets to Encavis АМ

Encavis Infrastructure Fund II, advised by Encavis Asset Management AG (Encavis AM), has acquired five German solar farms with a total capacity of about 35 MWp from the renewables arm of German diversified group BayWa AG (ETR:BYW6).

-- Sonnedix bags portfolios with 38.2 MW of solar in Spain

Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd has added 38.2 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity to its business in Spain through recent acquisitions of two portfolios of operating assets.

-- Quadran Polska buys Polish O&M service firm from EDF

Quadran Polska, part of French renewable energy company Quadran International, has acquired a Poland-based operations and maintenance (O&M) service provider from EDF Renewables for an undisclosed amount.

-- First Solar sells 278 MW of US projects to EDP Renewables, ConnectGen

US thin-film solar module maker First Solar Inc (NASDAQ:FSLR) has sold three photovoltaic (PV) projects with a combined capacity of 278 MW to EDP Renewables (ELI:EDPR) and ConnectGen.

-- CIP buys 800-MW Illinois wind project from Tri Global

US renewables firm Tri Global Energy LLC said it has sold a wind power project with a capacity of up to 800 MW in Illinois to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP).

-- Greece looks to offload 49% of power distribution network HEDNO - report

The Greek state intends to sell 49% of Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator SA (HEDNO) to help its troubled owner, power utility Public Power Corp SA (ATH:PPC), Reuters reported.

-- Canadian clean-tech co Ionomr Innovations raises USD 2.3m in seed capital

Ionomr Innovations Inc, a Canadian company that develops ion-exchange membrane and polymer solutions for energy storage and clean energy generation applications, said it has raised CAD 3 million in seed capital.

-- Elecnor closes alliance with Dutch APG to push renewables, transmission

Elecnor SA (BME:ENO) has closed its partnership agreement with Dutch pension fund manager APG Group NV through which the duo will jointly invest and develop transmission and renewable energy projects other than wind power.

-- SSE Renewables buys 100-MW Irish wind project

The renewables arm of UK utility SSE plc (LON:SSE) said it has added to its portfolio a wind power project in Ireland with a capacity of over 100 MW.

-- Sonnedix adds six PV assets to Italian portfolio

Independent solar power producer Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd has purchased six Italian photovoltaic (PV) power plants with a combined capacity of 5.9 MWp, the company announced.

-- Martifer sells owner of 8 MWp of solar farms in Spain

Portuguese renewable power company Finerge SA has bought six Spanish solar photovoltaic (PV) farms with a combined capacity of 8.1 MWp from local industrial group Martifer SGPS SA (ELI:MAR).

-- Gridserve hands over 34.7-MW UK subsidy-free solar, storage park

Power infrastructure company Gridserve said it had completed a 34.7-MWp subsidy-free solar park with a 27-MW/30-MWh energy storage facility in Yorkshire, northern England.

-- Renewables-focused Ørsted agrees to sell LNG business to Glencore

Ørsted A/S (CPH:ORSTED) said it has agreed to offload its liquefied natural gas (LNG) business to British-Swiss natural resources company Glencore PLC (LON:GLEN) in view of the Danish energy group's strengthening focus on renewables.

Italy-based Falck Renewables SpA (BIT:FKR) announced it has acquired a 70% stake in Iron SPV Srl, owner of a roughly 35-MW solar project in Italy.

-- Equinor lifts stake in Scatec Solar to 15%

Norway’s Equinor ASA (NYSE:EQNR) said it has bought a 5.2% stake in Oslo-based Scatec Solar ASA (OSL:SSO) for NOK 754 million, bringing its total interest in the company to 15.2%.

-- Greencoat UK Wind to buy 81 MW of Scottish subsidy-free projects

Greencoat UK Wind Plc (LON:UKW) is to pay GBP 104 million for two subsidy-free wind projects with a combined capacity of 81 MW in Scotland.

-- European Energy sells 53-MW Swedish wind park, adjusts forecast

Danish renewables developer European Energy A/S has finalised the sale of the 53.2-MW Zinkgruvan wind farm in Sweden to a Germany-based asset management company.

-- Engie-led consortium to pay EUR 2.2bn for EDP's Portuguese HPPs

A consortium led by French utility Engie SA (EPA:ENGI) is to acquire the Portuguese hydropower portfolio of Energias de Portugal SA (ELI:EDP), with a total capacity of 1.7 GW, for EUR 2.2 billion.

-- GAM Capital buys stake in Akuo's 50-MW wind farm in Dominican Republic

Investment fund manager GAM Capital has acquired an equity stake in the 50-MW Parques Eolicos del Caribe SA (Pecasa) located in the province of Monte Cristi in the Dominican Republic.

-- Sharp to form solar power JV in Vietnam

Sharp Energy Solutions Corporation (SESJ), part of Sharp Corp (TYO:6753), and Vietnam-based NSN Construction and Engineering JSC have agreed to form a joint venture (JV) to construct solar power farms.

-- Norway's Nel announces green hydrogen JV

Nel Fuel AS, part of Norwegian hydrogen technology firm Nel ASA (OSE:NEL) said it has formed a renewable hydrogen joint venture (JV) with H2 Energy AS, Greenstat AS and Akershus Energi Infrastruktur AS.
