Dominika Kulczyk, who has a 50.2% stake in Polenergia SA (WSE:PEP), will be launching a tender bid to acquire the shares she does not already own in the Polish utility.

Sumitomo Corp (TYO:8053) said it has acquired a 30% stake in the 219-MW Northwester 2 offshore wind project being developed by Parkwind off Belgium.

US private equity firm Hull Street Energy LLC has closed the acquisition of nine hydropower plants (HPPs) with a combined capacity of 68 MW in New Hampshire.

Brazil's Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) has determined that the State Grid Corporation of China has to raise the price at which it would buy out CPFL Energias Renovaveis (BVMF:CPRE3) to at least BRL 14.60 per share.
