-- Musk relies on Saudi fund to take Tesla private
Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO Elon Musk revealed that he is relying on equity from the Saudi sovereign wealth fund to take the company private, but also noted he is discussing the matter with other investors.
Also last week it was announced that Silver Lake and Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) are serving as Tesla’s financial advisors, and that the company had set up a special committee to evaluate the going-private proposal.

Lithuania’s state-owned Lietuvos Energija has agreed to acquire a 34-MW portfolio of three wind parks in Lithuania from domestic wind farm operator Stemma Group.

Green Investment Group (GIG) announced it has acquired a “significant” solar development portfolio in the Asia Pacific region from downstream solar company Conergy Asia & ME Pte Ltd.

Canadian energy company Emera Inc (TSE:EMA) has decided to withdraw support for its Cape Sharp Tidal joint venture with OpenHydro Ltd after the latter filed for liquidation last month.
-- Pattern Energy, PSP Investments buy 147-MW wind farm in Quebec
US wind power company Pattern Energy Group Inc (NASDAQ:PEGI) said it has acquired a 51% interest in the 147-MW Mont Sainte-Marguerite wind farm in Quebec, Canada.
-- Omega Geracao to buy 50% in 321-MW Brazilian PV complex
Brazilian renewable energy company Omega Geracao SA said it has signed a deal to acquire a 50% stake in the 321-MW Pirapora Complex.
-- Dominion adds 240 MW of solar assets in Virginia via Urban Grid deal
Dominion Energy Inc (NYSE:D) has acquired a 240-MW solar project portfolio in Virginia from developer Urban Grid, the latter announced.
-- Suzlon unit buys 235 MW of wind projects in Montana
US renewables developer Seventus LLC has acquired the Jawbone wind projects in Montana with a combined planned capacity of 235 MW, it announced.

The two largest shareholders of Tilt Renewables Ltd (NZE:TLT) announced their intention to fully take over the Australasian power producer for a total of NZD 208.5 million.

Energy services provider John Wood Group Plc (LON:WG) said it has agreed to offload a 50% stake in its wind farm joint venture (JV) in Italy in a USD-27-million deal.

Brazilian electric utility Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA (BVMF:ELET3), better known as Eletrobras, seeks to raise at least BRL 3.1 billion from the sale of wind power and transmission assets.
