(ADPnews) - Oct 12, 2010 - US solar energy project developer Enfinity America Corp, part of Belgian Enfinity Corp, said Monday it had acquired US sector firm ClearPeak for an undisclosed sum, seeking to enhance its presence in the country.
Clear Peak is active in the provision of outsourcing solutions for the green energy sector, including business strategy, business development, project development, project finance, and policy support.
Bob Hopper, president and co-founder of ClearPeak, will take the post of senior vice president of Enfinity, while Brian Lynch, the other company co-founder, will become senior vice president for development, US, Enfinity said.
By 2014, installed photovoltaic (PV) capacity in the US is expected to surge to 7,600 MW from the current 900 MW, according to the US Solar Energy Market World Data report.
