January 8 (Renewables Now) - UK housing provider Optivo is looking for a partner in a project involving the provision of rooftop photovoltaic (PV) solutions to public sector entities.

In a contract notice, Optivo says that the total estimated value of services put through the Framework Agreement for Fully-Funded Photovoltaic Solutions over its four-year term is GBP 100 million (USD 135.4m/EUR 113m), excluding VAT. The company notes that the agreement does not guarantee work or a minimum number or value of call-off contracts to be awarded.

It is envisaged that call-off contracts will be of up to 5 MW on individual or linked sites.

The winner in the tender will be required to engage in the achievement of social and environmental policy objectives relating to recruitment and training and supply chain initiatives.
