Chinese firm Xi’an Longi Silicon Materials Co Ltd (SHA:601012) said Tuesday it will deliver 100 MW of its monocrystalline solar modules to a unit of Hong Kong-based solar park operator United Photovoltaics Group Ltd (HKG:0686).
The company and United Photovoltaics (Changzhou) Investment Co Ltd signed a sales contract on December 17, a statement on the Shanghai Stock Exchange shows. Under the terms of the deal, the latter will pay some CNY 400 million (USD 61.7m/EUR 56.7m) for the modules.
Xi’an Longi Silicon also makes monocrystalline ingot and wafer for the photovoltaic (PV) industry. Further details were not provided.
United PV is part of investor and plant operator China Merchants New Energy Group (CMNE).
