December 7 (Renewables Now) - Grand Port Maritime de la Guyane in the French overseas department of Guiana has published a tender notice, seeking to award a contract for the construction of a self-consumption photovoltaic (PV) system.

The contract covers the supply and installation of the system and its estimated value is EUR 250,000 (USD 295,000) without value added tax (VAT).

The deadline for submissions, which should be done electronically, is January 15, 2018.

According to the information, the project is supported by EU funds.
