SunPower Corp (NASDAQ:SPWR) announced on Monday it is supplying solar panels to the 349-MW Limondale photovoltaic (PV) plant located in New South Wales, Australia.
Specifically, SunPower is supplying its 19% efficient Performance Series (P-Series) that are designed to improve reliability and efficiency, the US solar manufacturer said.
Scheduled to commence operations in mid-2020, this PV facility is being developed by German energy company Innogy SE (ETR:IGY). Belectric GmbH, a subsidiary of Innogy, is in charge of the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works, as well as the operation and maintenance (O&M) services.
